Best correction of the week features James Bond and scotch eggs

All news is local, as they say, and for the Torquay Herald Express, James Bond actor Roger Moore's trip to town made the paper.

So, naturally, they took a local spin on the actor's enjoyment of the local award-winning pub's cuisine - but accidentally got his order wrong.

The results - via The Media Blog - are pure, unadulterated genius.

'007 legend Roger Moore shuns scotch egg for ham hock terrine enroute to Torquay' - what a headline.

The story, with that glorious headline, is still live, along with the original controversial edition.

And, the paper reports, "It was washed down with half a pint of local ale." Which, we're sure, was neither shaken nor stirred.
