[/comment]Chicago-based author Bill Hillmann, who co-wrote a book on surviving the bull run, is one of two people gored by bulls during the third running of the San Fermin festival.
The Navarra regional Government identified a 32-year-old American man by his initials, with local news outlets naming him as the writer.
It is understood he was gored in his right thigh during this morning's run, which began at approximately 8am.
Another 35-year-old Spaniard was gored in the chest. Both men were earlier described as being in a serious condition.

.So far, three people have been gored in total this year and many injured. 15 people have died since 1924 from gorings, and dozens are injured every year.
