In 1993, Cranberries singer Dolores O'Riordan sat in a hotel room in England and wrote 'Zombie', her response to the deaths of Jonathan Ball and Tim Parry in an IRA bombing in Warrington.
She probably didn't predict that 20 years later, the song would have become a staple of every teenager with a guitar and a dream, and have no less than cover versions on YouTube.
