It is reported the Tourism Minister Leo Varadkar will travel to China next week to raise awareness of Ireland as a holiday destination.
A €200,000 campaign is being organised with a target of tripling the number of Chinese people making the trip here over the next five years.
The Irish Independent says Minister Varadkar will lead a delegation to China next week, while a separate delegation will spend 10 days there promoting what Ireland has to offer.
Ireland was given the title of 'best potential destination' at an awards ceremony in China last month.
