US sees jobless rate fall

US President Barack Obama has had some good news on jobs as he seeks to retain the presidency.

The unemployment rate in the States has fallen to 7.8%, the lowest since January 2009 when Obama took office.

The figure had been at 8.1% and economists expected it to get worse.
