Tourist body confident about Gathering
28/12/2012 - 07:58:10The Irish Tourist Industry Confederation believes the Gathering will boost Ireland's tourism industry next year.
The I.T.I.C will release its latest review this morning into how the industry performed in 2012.
Continental European business was up by over 2%, as was North American business.
However, the British market slipped back by about 4%.
Chief Executive Eamonn Mckeon believes next year's Gathering initiative will turn this around.
