Tayto Park to open Ice Age attraction today

Tayto Park is set to throw open its doors today with a brand new experience that will take visitors back to the Ice Age.

The new 'Ice Valley Experience' will allow kids a peek at what life was like more than a million years ago. The attraction includes animatronic ice age animals.

Visitors can trek through life-like glaciers surrounded by snow and meet the park's resident mammoths, cave bears, saber-toothed cats and giant Irish deer.

Tayto Park founder Raymond Coyle said: "We are very excited about the new additions this year, we are adding even more to the attractions for families and thrill seekers alike and catering from small children and ‘big kids’ too."
