Further efforts will be made today to resolve a row over meat prices which saw a 24-hour farmer blockade at factories.
Agriculture Minister Simon Coveney is expected to be involved in talks due to take place later.
Some 29 meat factories were targeted in the farmers' action which began on Monday afternoon, aimed at highlighting what they say is a big difference between meat prices here and in the UK.
However representatives from the meat industry condemned the action as 'misguided'.
