Surge in oil price following Middle East violence

Petrol prices look set to rocket again, following an upsurge in violence in the Middle East.

Crude oil rose to more than $78 a barrel yesterday as global markets reacted to the crisis in Israel and Lebanon.

The Middle East collectively pumps nearly a third of the world's oil output, and if tensions continue to grow the prices are certain to continue to increase.
