European shares climbed up this afternoon, edged by expectations that eurozone finance ministers will approve the next tranche of bailout money for Greece.

Officials suggested this afternoon that they were hopeful there would be a solution today, avoiding the fear of bankruptcy for the country.

There had been disagreement between the EU and the IMF over the 2020 target date for Greece's debts to drop to 120% of GDP.
