SFA: Organised crime costing businesses more
Organised crime is costing Irish businesses an increasing amount of money, according to the Small Firms Association.
The association says a rise in the theft of cash, stock and property proves that companies are being targeted by organised thieves.
The group's latest survey shows that over the past two years almost half of all businesses have experienced an increase in crime rates.
The survey shows that the average criminal incident now costs nearly €9,000.
