Ryanair will open a base at Krakow, Poland in April 2013, with two-based aircraft flying to and from Dortmund, Gothenburg, Manchester and Kos, it was announced today.
It is Ryanair's 53rd base and its second in Poland. A $140m (€108m) investment was made by Ryanair in purchasing the aircraft.
"Ryanair’s 1.6m passengers p.a. will sustain up to 1,600 'on site' jobs in Krakow," said Ryanair’s Michael Cawley.
