Low-fare airline Ryanair is reducing its check-in charges as part of a newly-launched customer charter.
From May, the no-frills carrier will be lowering its check-in fee from €70 to €45 euros.
The change is part of a package of passenger improvements to mark the airline’s 30th birthday. They include new seats with more legroom and improved in-flight meals.
Ryanair is also promising new aircraft interiors and new uniforms for cabin crew.
Ryanair chief executive Michael O’Leary said: “2014/15 was a record year for Ryanair, as we grew our traffic to 90m customers and started to dramatically improve the customer experience.”
