Ryanair has announced that it has ordered a batch of Boeing 737-800 airplanes worth €12.1bn.
The airline signed an agreement with Boeing to purchase 175 new Next Generation 737-800 airplanes.
It is the largest deal with the company to date in 2013 and the largest ever aircraft order by a European airline.
When finalised, the airline said the deal would allow Ryanair to grow traffic to more than 100 million passengers per year and create more than 3,000 new jobs across the airline.
