Ryanair director Finn resigns

Ryanair has today announced the resignation of its director of commercial revenue, Sinead Finn.

Finn will now be establishing her own consultancy practice.

Finn has worked with Ryanair since 1998 in a variety of positions including sales manager for Italy, head of sales & marketing and, since 2008, as director of commercial revenue in charge of commercial relationships with Ryanair’s ancillary partners.

"We are sorry to see Sinead leave but understand her desire to set up her own business," said Ryanair’s Michael Cawley.

"She has made a huge contribution to Ryanair’s success over the last 13 years. Sinead joined our sales team when we were carrying less than 3m passengers and leaves as we head towards 78m passengers in 2011.

"Since she was appointed director of commercial revenue, that area of our business has grown considerably.

"She was personally instrumental in establishing our new teletext service and inaugurating successful partnerships with Webloyalty and ATS buses and centrally involved in renegotiating hotel and travel insurance contracts.

"I thank her for her very significant contribution to the growth of Ryanair and wish her every success in her new enterprise."
