Report shows Irish airlines get the most complaints in the EU

Irish airlines are the most complained about in the EU, according to the European Consumer Centre.

Up to 18% of complaints received by the centre are about Irish airline carriers, while German airlines come second with 17% of complaints.

The figures are part of a report by the ECC, which found that people do not know their rights when it comes to delays and cancellations of flights.

The ECC says transport complaints relating to air travel account for 46% of complaints they receive.
