EY is creating 270 new jobs.
The professional services company is opening a second office in Dublin and a new operation in Galway.
220 of the new positions are being offered to those with experience in the sector.
The average salaries expected to be in excess of €50,000 a year.
EY also has said it is increasing its annual graduate intake to 250, up an extra 50, in its seven offices across the country.
Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Mary Mitchell O’Connor has said the jobs announcement is “wonderful news”.
“EY’s announcement today is wonderful news,” said Mitchell O’Connor.
“It is a true mark of confidence in the Irish economy, when an international business can be competitive and grow to the degree EY have in this country. The fact that these jobs will be spread across EY's offices in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Waterford and Galway is very welcome news as one of my priorities as Minister is to ensure employment growth across the regions.”
