More than 11 million passengers went through Dublin Airport in the first six months of this year - up over 15% on last year.

More than 11 million passengers went through Dublin Airport in the first six months of this year - up over 15% on last year.

The British market was particularly strong, while the airport is also seeing record numbers of transatlantic and transfer passengers.

Passenger numbers across Europe are up 4.5%.

The Dublin Airport Authority said it had the fourth largest passenger increase within its airport category, behind Athens, London Stansted and Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen.
