Olympics sees Visa use rise by 8%

International visitors to the UK spent more than £450m (€566m) on their Visa cards during the first week of the Olympic Games.

It represents an 8% per cent rise on the same time last year.

Visa is the only credit card accepted at London 2012 venues.
