NIB reports €10m operating losses07/08/2012 - 08:09:55
National Irish Bank is reporting an operating loss, before impairment charges, of €10m in the first six months of the year.
However costs rose to €74m, because of a one-off provision for costs associated with the reorganisation of the Bank’s retail business, announced in June.
The bank's total loan book now stands at €8.3bn which is down 9% on last year.
