Little trading volume on ISEQ
The ISEQ index of Irish shares closed at 2,906.36 points tonight for a rise of 6.55 on what was a day of little trading volumes.
AIB added 3c to €1.78, Bank of Ireland was up 2c to €1.66 and Irish Life & Permanent shed 8c to €3.73.
Elsewhere, Grafton Group added 14c to €3.30; CRH was up 11c to €17.27 and gains of 10c were recorded by Smurfit Kappa and Kingspan, to €5.80 and €5.64 respectively.
On the fallers' board, Kerry Group fell 31c to €3.29 and FBD dropped 27c to €6.40.
