Little overall movement for ISEQ
The ISEQ index of Irish shares inched up 6.38 points to 2,873.07 by close of trade today.
The financial sector had a mixed day. Irish Life and Permanent enjoyed a 31c jump to €5.24. Allied Irish Banks (down 20c to €1.68) and Bank of Ireland (down 10c to €1.60) lost ground however..
The construction sector was similarly mixed. CRH shot up 51c to €17.16, but Kingspan lost 24c to €5.51, and Grafton shed 18c to €3.22.
There were some decent gains elsewhere. Icon jumped 70c to €17.30, with Dragon Oil climbed 32c to €4.95. Irish Continental Group and Kerry Group both gained 10c to finish on €13 and €20.25 respectively.
