Internet provider Nova Broadband announces expansion

Cork-based company Nova Broadband says it is aiming to create up to 20 new jobs in the next 24 months following a €250,000 investment in expansion.

The broadband company has recently relocated to bigger premises in Carrigtwohill after increasing staff by 25%.

The investment is aimed at broadening its customer base beyond Munster and into areas such as Limerick, Tipperary, Kilkenny, Laois and Waterford in the first phase of its national expansion plan.

Nova Broadband CEO Dave Mc Donald said “Our reputation as the number one rated broadband provider and experts when it comes to rural broadband in particular is spreading and as a result our customer levels are soaring through the roof.

“Since expanding up the country we have received a huge response and got many new customers who before now had little to no access to good broadband, which in this day and age I feel is completely unacceptable.

“We are delighted to be able to help these people and bring our number one rated service nationwide.”
