International companies gather for Dublin competitiveness summit

Companies from around the world are in Dublin today to discuss business competitiveness.

The Lean Dublin summit will showcase best practice approaches from companies in a broad range of sectors.

The conference in Dublin Castle is aimed at business owners, to network and to learn from each other's experiences.

Dr Richard Keegan of the Competitiveness Department at Enterprise Ireland, said Dublin had a number of features giving it a competitive edge.

"The openness of the Irish people and our desire to learn and share makes Dublin an attractive place to come, where they feel they can network in a really positive environment," he said.
