The number of days lost due to industrial disputes in the second quarter of the year has more than doubled.

The number of days lost due to industrial disputes in the second quarter of the year has more than doubled.

Figures from the CSO reveal 8,014 days were lost, compared with less that 3,500 for the same time in 2013.

Seven industrial disputes were taken between April and June, most of them in the industrial sector.
