IMF 'not discussing Spain rescue loan'
31/05/2012 - 16:47:26The IMF has said it is not discussing a rescue loan program with Spain.
A spokesman said the IMF is not drawing up plans that involve financial assistance for Spain.
The spokesman also said that Spain has not requested financial support from the IMF.
The comments come as the Spanish Deputy Prime Minister prepares to meet IMF chief Christine Lagarde.
