IDA: 5,000 jobs created by client companies


The IDA says around 5,000 jobs have been created by its client companies in the first six months of the year, although around 2,000 jobs were lost.

It has launched its annual report for 2011, which shows a net job increase of around 6,000 over the course of the 12 months.

It has also issued a warning about a potential shortage of large office space in Dublin and it is in talks with Nama with the aim of allieviating the problem.
