Icelandic airline Wow Air has announced flights from Dublin to New York, from €129 one way.
The low cost carrier is to route its Dublin flight via Iceland to New York.
The airline will begin the service on November 25.
Flights will operate from Dublin to New York, via Reykjavik (20-minute layover) on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
The New York flight follows the launch of transatlantic services from Dublin, via Iceland, to Boston, Washington, D.C, Montréal and Toronto in 2015, and to Los Angeles and San Francisco in January 2016.
Founded in November 2011 by Icelandic entrepreneur Skúli Mogensen, Wow Air now connects 29 destinations across Europe and the US with the Icelandic capital, Reykjavik.
The airline's annual passenger capacity is set to more than double in 2016 to over 1.8 million, up from approximately 840,000 in 2015.
