IBEC survey finds people have positive outlook for economy

IBEC says Irish people are feeling positive about the future.

The group which represents business owners and employers, says people want the next government to be ambitions about economic growth.

A survey, of 1,000 adults, found that people see a favourable outlook for Ireland's economy.

IBEC's Director of Policy Fergal O'Brien, says those surveyed want to see the Government capitalising on the economic recovery.

Mr O'Brien said: "People have accepted and can see that recovery is there. We want to see a government with ambition come in and really invest in the future and deliver the quality of life that people think is possible in Ireland.

"I think really the public at large and the business community want to see a government come in after this election and take this country onto this new phase of development."
