Holiday Inn posts 11% increase in profits


The owners of Holiday Inn have seen an 11% rise in profits.

In 2012, InterContinental Hotels Group made an operating profit of $614m, that is more than €460m.

The world's biggest hotelier opened a new hotel every 39 hours and said, despite the recession, people are continuing to spend on holidays and travel.
