Iseq up 56 points in morning trading

The Iseq index of shares has enjoyed a positive morning with a 56.77 point increase to 3,331.03 by 10.45am.
The 1.73% rise was due mostly to construction firm seeing its share price soar 73c to €20.13.
Other major risers were food giant Kerry Group, up 25c to €19.80, and Dragon Oil, up 23c to €4.45.
The financials were generally positive also with Irish Life and Permanent increaseing by six cents to €5.63 and AIB up two cents to €2.89. Bank of Ireland remained on €2.87.
Budget airline Ryanair was the other notable riser with a 10c increase to €3.46.
