Energia has won a public tender for electricity supply to more than 1,000 Irish schools.
The value of the contract is estimated to be in the region of €4.5m.
The independent energy provider expects to supply more than 32 gigawatt hours of electricity to power the schools throughout Ireland in the coming year.

Energia has a 28% market share of the Irish business electricity and gas market.
