ECB leaves interest rate unchanged

The ECB has left its key interest rate unchanged this lunchtime.
At today's meeting, the Governing Council decided to keep it at a low of 0.75%.
The President of the ECB Mario Draghi says more still needs to be done by Member States to encourage growth.
“As regards fiscal policies, Euro countries are progressing with consolidation. It is crucial that efforts are maintained to secure sound fiscal positions in line with the commitments under the stability and growth pact and the 2012 European semester recommendations.”
