Dublin Chamber of Commerce outline its priorities for next government

Business owners in Dublin are calling on the next government to prioritise funding for transport.

The Dublin Chamber of Commerce says 40% of business owners questioned want to see investment in infrastructure prioritised above anything else.

The group's election manifesto calls for the amount being invested in Dublin's transport system to be tripled.

Gina Quinn Chief Executive of Dublin Chamber of Commerce, explains why is is an important issue for business.

Ms Quinn said: "They're seeing congestion seriously impacting on business costs and really causing them problems, so that's their main concern.

"The second area is that businesses would like to see a reduction in personal taxation and after that it's spending on services throughout the economy."
