115 new jobs are to be created at DairyGold in Mallow, Co Cork.
400 temporary construction jobs will also come on stream after an €83m investment in a new dairy processing facility.
The Taoiseach is currently touring the facility in Mallow where he will lay the foundation stone of Dairygold's new dairy processing facility.
Enda Kenny will then travel to Mitchelstown for the official opening of Dairygold's €33.5m upgrade of its Castlefarm Dairy Processing Complex in the town.
Minister for Agriculture and Defence Simon Coveney said the project was a vote of confidence for the region.
"Some of [the investment] has already happened, and other elements of that send are beginning, but either way, this is a huge statement of confidence and intent by a very, very big player in the dairy industry," he said.
