DAA recorded a 47% increase in profits last year, to €61m.
Figures released by the airport operator show commercial revenue from its domestic and international businesses grew by 30%.
While passenger numbers at Dublin and Cork airports increased by 14% to 27.1m, 25m of those travelled through Dublin Airport.
DAA has also said the planned second runway at Dublin Airport is essential as the existing infrastructure is at capacity at peak times.
It will cost 320m to build and will support 31,000 new jobs.
