Cyprus confirms bailout cost now at €23bn

Cyprus has confirmed the cost of its EU and IMF bailout has risen to €23bn.

The country will have to find an extra €6bn, less than a month after the original deal was agreed.

Cyprus is already selling off much of its gold reserves and winding down one of its largest banks to finance part of its bailout.
