3 signs Xtra-vision retail deal
Mobile media network 3 has signed a retail distribution agreement with Xtra-vision, under the terms of which Xtra-vision will distribute 3’s products and services through 154 stores around the country.
Xtra-vision sells a range of consumer electronics from mobile phones to DVDs.
Xtra-vision will offer handsets including the new Sony Ericsson K610i in red, the Motorola V3x in pink, the LG8330, LG8360 and Motorola C975. 3’s pre-pay pricing 3Pay will be available in all 154 Xtra-vision stores with bill-pay in selected outlets.
Recently, 3 launched its 5c pre-pay offer for text, picture and video messaging product.
3 also offers a range of 3G content including free highlights from the Barclays Premiership five minutes after the whistle blows, comedy such as Father Ted and 3’s own music channel, The Hive, hosted by Tom Dunne.
