ISEQ edges close to 7500
26/01/2006 - 17:41:42The ISEQ index of Irish shares edged closer to the 7500 barrier today, rising 47.41 points to 7491.21.
None of the financials recorded losses today. AIB rose 22c to €18.40, Anglo Irish Bank recorded 20c to €12.85 and Irish Life and Permanent gained 10c to €17.25.
Bank of Ireland remained unchanged at 13.70.
Recruitment company CPL continued to improve on earlier gains this week by rising 10c to €4.20.
Construction company CRH rose 47c to €25.88
Oil stocks were in negative territory with both Dragon and Tullow Oil falling 5c to €3.19 and €4.40 respectively.
