The number of people travelling to Ireland increased by more than 11% during the last three months.
New figures from the Central Statistics Office, show the total number of trips to Ireland rose by 231,000 to 2.3 million between May and July, when compared with the same time last year.
Trips by residents from North America jumped more than 16%, while the number of UK visitors rose by 8.5%.
Overall, the total number of trips to Ireland increased by 9.9% for the first seven months of 2014 - compared to the same period in 2013.
