Coughlan publishes charter of rights for farmers
19/12/2005 - 18:24:32A new charter of rights for farmers, covering the Single Farm Payment Scheme and a range of others, has been published by the Minister for Agriculture, Mary Coughlan.
It gives information on application procedures, inspections, eligibility and compliance as well as details on how payments are made.
The minister said that the charter is about improving the standard of services provided to the farming community.
