Changes in Drury Communications Board

11/01/2004 - 15:20:03
Drury Communications has announced a number of key changes at Board level and several new appointments as part of a wider development plan for the business, which will be rolled out over the next three years.

Billy Murphy, co-founder, will take on the role of Chairman of Drury Communications, while remaining a full time executive.

His new role will free him from the responsibility of the day-to-day management of the business and allow him to devote more of his time and energy to client advisory work and business development.

One of the country's most experienced corporate communications consultants, Mr Murphy advises some of Ireland's top companies, including CRH, Jurys Doyle Hotel Group, Greencore, Paddy Power, O2, Heiton Group and C&C Group.

Padraig McKeon, a director with Drury Communications since 1997, has been appointed to the role of Managing Director.

Active in the public relations industry since the mid-eighties, Mr McKeon will continue to work closely with his current clients, which include Dublin Port Company, Bank of Ireland, InterTrade Ireland and the Chip and Pin programme.
