High street retailer Argos is looking for 500 seasonal workers in the run-up to the Christmas shopping season in the Republic of Ireland.

High street retailer Argos is looking for 500 seasonal workers in the run-up to the Christmas shopping season in the Republic of Ireland.

The contracts for the customer advisor roles are for part-time positions until the end of the Christmas period.

New staff will get in-house training and a 10% staff discount at Argos.

Andy McClelland, Operations Manager at Argos Republic of Ireland, said: "As we approach our busiest shopping period of the year, we need the extra support in our stores to ensure that we can deliver great service to the hundreds of thousands of customers who shop with us at this time. We are looking for people who are customer focused, passionate and enthusiastic to join our teams."
