Fifty new jobs have been announced this morning at Aer Arann.
The airline says it is planning to boost its workforce by 15% over the next year and double its annual passenger numbers to over two million by 2018.
The positions will be in a variety of areas such as flight and cabin crew, engineering and support roles.
Recruitment for the jobs, which will be based at the airline’s headquarters in Dublin and in Dublin Airport, is underway, bringing the company’s overall staff numbers to 370.
Aer Arann also unveiled eight new aircraft this morning.
