Nearly a quarter of consumers will split their Christmas shopping between the shops and online.
A new survey from Bank of Ireland has revealed that most people are well organised, with 68% planning on having the majority of their shopping done in the next two weeks.
Women are planning to complete their shopping earlier than men.
Some 62% of people intend to spend less than €500 on presents this year. Meanwhile, 8% say they will spend more than €1,000.
