48% of Vodafone users now on smartphones
Vodafone Ireland grew its base by 18,300 in the last three months of the year, the company announced in an interim management statement this morning.
Vodafone's contract base is now 778,900.
Almost half of Vodafone users (48%) now use a smartphone, with the company adding 95,000 new smartphone users in the quarter, an increase of 37.5% year-on-year.
Vodafone’s fixed line voice and broadband subscribers increased by 3.2% quarter-on-quarter to reach 246,600 at the end of the December.
