200 jobs announced over the next two years with CPL Resources

Cpl Resources Plc, Ireland’s largest indigenous recruitment and outsourcing firm today announced the creation of 200 skilled, operational roles across the Group’s extensive branch network in the next two years.

These roles will include high value senior positions in Global Sales and Digital, and roles at varying levels in Recruitment, Sales and Marketing. The jobs will be across the organisation in Dublin, the UK and Eastern Europe.

Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton TD welcomed the announcement: “The jobs market has performed extremely strongly over recent years, with 135,800 extra people at work now compared to February 2012 when we launched the Action Plan for Jobs.

“Employment in Ireland is growing at the fastest rate of any country in Europe, and unemployment has come below 9% for the first time since 2008. The challenge now is to build on this, and today’s announcement from CPL that it is directly creating an extra 160 jobs in Ireland and a further 40 in overseas markets is a very welcome boost and further confirmation of the strong growth that’s happening. I wish Anne and the team every further success”.

Anne Heraty, CEO, Cpl Resources plc commented: “There’s been a strong uplift in business which is why we are hiring so many people. We work with both Irish and international companies, many of which are expanding, both in Ireland and abroad”.

“It’s clear that confidence is on the rise in Irish businesses. Earlier this month the European Commission predicted Irish GDP growth of 6%, so most businesses are seeking to increase their headcount”.

“As they grow, talent is becoming the key differentiator, and the best candidates are not always easy to find. This is particularly true for companies competing with disruptive, innovative tech companies who are very attractive to the young, talented and most technologically skilled people,” she added.

“As a result, the workplace is changing. Companies are getting creative with their staffing solutions: work is no longer 9-5 in an office, but can be done anywhere; there’s an increase in contractors and freelancers, and there is a new openness to part-time and flexi-time hours for staff”.
