15% percent jump in revenue at Amazon
Amazon has revealed a 15% jump in revenue for the first quarter of this year, and a smaller-than-expected loss.
Sales in the first three months of the year came to £15bn, while losses totalled £37m.
Profits were boosted by its web services business - which helps household names like Spotify and Netflix to send notifications, stream video and synchronise data.
