10th Annual National Women's Enterprise day takes place today

More women are being urged to start up a business.

Today is the 10th Annual National Women's Enterprise Day.

Events are taking place around the country which will offer advice to entrepreneurs and share success experiences.

Sheelagh Daly from LEO outlines how local Enterprise offices can help:"Everything from mentoring, one to one business advice, direct financial assistance to access finance from other sources to training and networking.

"Networking is a very important aspect expecially for people who are just starting out and it is great to be able to talk to other people who are in a similar position, and women who have actually been there and done that and actually built successful businesses."
