Two hundred new jobs are expected to be announced later by IT firm EMC.

€100m EMC investment will create 200 new jobs in Cork

Two hundred new jobs are expected to be announced later by IT firm EMC.

The US multinational will announce plans for a new office at Citygate in Cork city, as part of a €100m euro investment in Ireland.

EMC has begun recruiting for the new positions, and expects to have the majority of them filled by the end of 2013.

The firm already employs around 3,000 people in Ireland.
